Nathan Badley has always had an interest in writing. Growing up, he found himself eagerly pursuing a career in journalism.

Nathan has been featured on jocklife.com and has been published in the Louisburg Herald.

Currently he expresses himself on his blog, The Life and Times of Nathan Badley. He also publishes his sports insights, or lack thereof, on Bleacher Report as a Contributing Columnist.

Why I Write - The Philosophy Behind the Words

I write for the sake of expression. I choose this outlet to tell a story and to put my thoughts out there.

Plus, it's a lot easier to make sure you do not say something stupid if you are able to proofread before you express yourself.

Personal Writing Style

I like to write quickly and then go back and edit my thoughts. I am likely to stay up through dawn to make sure I have met a deadline and make sure what I turn in is worth the time it takes to read it.

Works In-Progress

I am currently working on a series of short stories focusing on life from conception through the afterlife. I have passed the planning phase and I currently hope to have them completed in three to five months.
