The Storiad Story
We’ll admit it. Storiad was borne of two related frustrations: the lack of a centralized professional networking platform & commercial marketplace dedicated to the art & business of storytelling.
We wanted to build a place where Writers, Editors, Publishers, Bloggers, Reviewers, Book Clubs, Writing Groups, Bookstores, Book Creatives … anyone involved in the art & business of writing can network, market, publicize & sell.
So we built Storiad.
Our approach is simple: We’re building on rich traditions because we love the traditions of the art & business of storytelling. From the hard work inherent to getting a manuscript ready for sale; to the imperativeness of finding the right editor & publisher; to the creativity that goes into designing smart marketing & publicity campaigns; Storiad makes those traditions more accessible, more efficient, more profitable … for more people.
And we’ll continue to build on those traditions as Storiad grows.
Here’s a video introduction to Storiad:
Here are the faces & stories behind Storiad:
Ramzi S. Hajj is the Founder of Storiad. A University of Chicago economist by trade, a writer by passion, he built his dream job by fusing the two. It’s nice to live the narrative of one’s dreams. He still reads The Economist & writes religiously. Ramzi can be reached here.
Nathan Tyler is the Technical Co-Founder of Storiad. Quiet & tenacious, Nathan takes the wildest of product design ideas, simplifies them, and transforms them into functional realities even Ramzi can use. He’s a natural storyteller with “0s” and “1s”.
Marco Ciappelli is the Branding & Marketing Co-Founder of Storiad. A Ph.D. in Political Science, Marco is going to tell you a good story with good characters every time. He wants to show writers how to better brand themselves as writers using Storiad. Marco can be reached here.
And now for the pitch: If you’re serious about the art & business of writing, you’ll find your Storiad experience to be a productive & rewarding one.
We’d love to hear from you. Drop us a line with your comments.
See you on Storiad.
