How do I create a STORIAD account?
On the Home Page, click “Sign Me Up!”. The prompts for information are familiar and straightforward. The registration process shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
How much does it cost?
Getting started in STORIAD is free. We offer a host of Premium Stuff packages for when you’re ready to expand your reach.
What is the STORIAD ePressKit?

Do you have any helpful tips on using STORIAD?
Media Pros who have joined STORIAD tell us that the Writer’s profile should be used like a well-crafted cover letter. We urge all Writers to spend some time making their profile as compelling as possible. The old adage “you only get one chance to make a first impression” hold true.
Does STORIAD share my contact information with anyone outside the STORIAD network?
Absolutely not! STORIAD will never share your information with anyone, at anytime, for any reason! And of course, within the network, you control your privacy settings. For a complete discussion on our privacy policies, please review the STORIAD Privacy Policy.
How can I share a success story with STORIAD?
We collect Success Stories via email, publishing them on a dedicated site page. We will use your first name and last initial, unless otherwise directed. With your permission, we will make your profile available for viewing. It’s up to you.
How do I report inappropriate postings?
We are lovers of the First Amendment, no doubt. We choose, however, to NOT trade in ANY racist, sexist, gratuitously violent, or pornographic material. Nor will we tolerate any unacceptable behavior. On every page you will find a “Report a Problem” button. STORIAD will investigate every complaint and act accordingly. What is Vox Storiad?
Vox Storiad is a blogging service for Storiad members. We know many Storiaders already have their own blogs. However, when you blog on Vox Storiad, you also gain access to STORIAD’s growing network of writers and media pros, in addition to STORIAD’s various social media outlets. That’s over 10,000 people (and growing daily). It’s a great way to expand your audience base and really get your story out there. Learn lots more here.

Can I integrate my STORIAD account with my Twitter account?
Yes. On your “Manage Profile” page, you have the option to integrate your STORIAD account with your Twitter account. Any updates or new projects posted to your STORIAD account will automatically be tweeted to your Twitter followers.

How do I upload a Project?
Once you’ve created your profile, simply click the “Upload Project” icon and follow the prompts. Please take some time to properly categorize and describe your project. This is how interested parties will find you and your projects.
Are my projects safe?
Yes! All Uploaded Projects and related information are saved on secure (encrypted) databases. Only you can grant viewership permission!
How do I delete a Project?
On your “Manage Projects” page, there is a “Remove Project” link. Click, confirm, and it will be removed from the marketplace. Of course, you can always upload it again at a different time.
How many projects can I upload to my account?
There is no limit to the number of projects you may upload. We recommend, however, to treat uploaded projects as you would submitting a query letter, i.e. providing a sample of the manuscript.
Do I have to post my entire project?
You may upload any length Project, from excerpts (e.g. opening chapters) to the entire document. We suggest, however, you upload a sample of your manuscript, but provide a boffo “elevator pitch” to describe your opus – just as you would with a well-crafted query letter.
What happens once contact with a Media Professional is established?
Happy Day! Once contact is established, the parties involved are on their own! But do remember to share your success story with STORIAD. Contact us here.
Can I expect a quick response to my uploaded Project?
You never know. Think of STORIAD as helping you place your proverbial diamond in the rough. You never know who might be looking for your particular piece. Be patient. Have faith that your work will ultimately speak to the right audience.
As a Writer, can I contact Media Professionals directly on STORIAD?
Alas, no. Only Media Professionals can initiate contact with Writers. This approach is keeping in line with the STORIAD philosophy of introducing a bit of “pull” in a traditionally “push” market. This is why we strongly encourage you to properly categorize, tag and describe your posted project – Media Professionals can then easily find your project and initiate contact.
How do I contact other Writers on the STORIAD network?
On your Profile Page, you have the option of searching for and connecting with for other writers either by name or by geographic location (this option requires a zip code. The results display other STORIAD Writer members who are within a 50 mile radius of the zip code entered).
How are my copyrights protected?
The record of your project upload establishes copyright ownership to your work.
What type of file formats can I upload to the STORIAD?
You can upload files with the .doc or .pdf file extensions.
Can I edit my projects once they’re uploaded?
No. The best way to edit uploaded projects would be to delete the older version of your project and upload the edited version in its place.
How do I keep track of the number of views my projects have received?
Each time your Project is queried, it is recorded and automatically shown on your Profile page.
How many writers and media professionals are presently part of the STORIAD network?
Thousands … and growing daily.
Who can view my Projects?
You will always have total control of who may view your Profile and Uploaded Projects.

How do I search for Projects?
On your Profile Page, you have the option to search for written projects using simple or advanced keyword search functions. The more detailed information you provide in your search request, the narrower and more relevant the search results.
How do I organize my search results?
On your “Manage Projects” page, you have the options to organize your search results chronologically or by search type (e.g. fiction/detective/noir).
As a Media Professional, how do I contact Writers?
You may initiate contact with the writer via the STORIAD. You can search, view, categorize and save contacts that pique your interested in the “Save Projects” tab of your Profile Page.

Are there fees associated with STORIAD services?
During the Beta Phase, there are no writer-related fees for using STORIAD. For media professionals, there is a $9.99/month subscription fee.
If I’m not satisfied with STORIAD, how do I get my money back?
On your “Manage my Account” page, you will find a “Cancel my Subscription” button. Click it. Confirm your decision. Your subscription will be canceled, and your credit card refunded that month’s fee.
